The Blue Hole + Salama Canyon program combines two fascinating places in Dahab that are worth visiting.
The Blue Hole is considered one of the best dive sites and is well-known to diving enthusiasts around the world. It is a well-like structure inside a coral reef, reaching a depth of approximately 110 meters. Even while snorkeling on the reef, you can enjoy its extraordinary beauty and the richness of the underwater world.
Salama Canyon derives its name from the colorful rocks formed from various shades of sandstone: red, pink, purple, yellow, gray, and white, with inclusions of granite, copper, cobalt, and ancient corals. Salama Canyon is a well-preserved part of the ancient seabed, represented by a naturally formed giant fissure (possibly due to an earthquake) in the sandstone rocks. The canyon stretches for 5 km, with a height of 25-30 meters and a width ranging from 2 to 10 meters.
The program also includes optional quad biking and camel riding along the coast, as well as shopping at an authentic Eastern bazaar in the city of Dahab. The excursion includes lunch at a seaside restaurant.
