Luxor is rightfully considered the largest open-air museum, and its name derives from the Arabic “Al Uqsur,” which means “palaces.” The Nile River divides the city into two parts: the right (eastern) bank known as the “City of the Living” and the left (western) bank known as the “City of the Dead.”

We offer various excursion programs that include the most interesting attractions, but it is impossible to cover everything within the framework of standard group tours. For those who want to see more, we organize individual excursions in Luxor.

The Karnak Temple Complex covers an area of 1.5 km by 700 m. Construction of the complex began in the 20th century BC and lasted for 13 centuries. Karnak is the only temple consisting of 10 halls and having 10 gates (pylons). Special interest on excursions is usually aroused by the statue of the scarab beetle, which, according to legend, grants wishes, and the sacred lake measuring 129 by 77 meters, which was used in the past for ritual ablutions. From the Karnak Temple Complex to the Luxor Temple, there is a sacred path represented by an avenue of sphinxes.

The Colossi of Memnon are the only surviving reminders of the temple of Amenhotep III, built around 1400 BC. The temple was completely destroyed as a result of an earthquake around 1200 BC, but the colossi remained. Another strong earthquake in the 27th century BC partially destroyed the left statue, and at dawn, the colossus began to sing. However, after the restoration of the colossus in 199 AD, the singing ceased.

The Temple of Queen Hatshepsut was built in 1482-1473 BC. The ancient name of the temple, Djeser-Djeseru, means “the most holy of the holy.” The temple of the female pharaoh was a place of pilgrimage where people left requests for help or healing from diseases on the walls.

When visiting Banana Island, you can see not only how bananas grow but also other fruits such as mangoes and mandarins, as well as sugar cane, mint, and various spices. There is a cafe on the island where freshly picked bananas will be offered to you for free, and you can also pick them directly from the “banana tree” (bush) during the walk on the island.

The stone products factory (alabaster factory) partly resembles a museum. During the visit, you will learn about the technology of producing alabaster products and find out how they differ from counterfeits. If desired, you can also buy souvenirs made of genuine stone.

During the visit to the perfume factory, the guide will explain the technology of making oils and perfumes. At the factory’s shop, you can buy high-quality oils and oil-based perfumes.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are we insured during the excursion?

Your safety and protection during the excursion are our top priorities. Firstly, your travel insurance is valid throughout Egypt, and it also covers our excursions when booked with our tour guides. Secondly, we carry full insurance liability for passengers on all types of transportation, including transfers and yachts. We obtain necessary permits and adhere to strict tourism regulations in Egypt for conducting our tour activities.

Therefore, you will have complete insurance coverage and assurance of safety during our excursions.

Do I need to wait or adjust to the excursion schedule?

After booking the excursion, we will inform you of the exact time when you will be picked up from your hotel. Due to a high volume of bookings, most excursions are organized daily or according to the schedule indicated in the description of each program. You may join a group of tourists from your hotel who have purchased the same excursion from their hotel guide.

The difference is that our prices are lower by 40% - 60%.

How can I retrieve a forgotten item after the excursion?

It is important to understand that if you have forgotten or lost something during the excursion, retrieving the item can be challenging. We always remind our tourists about the importance of not forgetting their belongings and checking them before disembarking from the bus or yacht at the end of the excursion. Unfortunately, once the transportation undergoes cleaning, it becomes difficult to recover lost items. We strive to assist our tourists in locating their belongings, but we cannot guarantee full retrieval.

Therefore, please be attentive and take care of your belongings during the excursion.

Can a low price indicate poor service quality?

Our company offers some of the lowest prices on the market, but that does not mean we provide poor service. We operate as an online excursion booking platform for major organizers in Egypt and can offer competitive prices due to the high volume of tourists we serve.

By purchasing our services, you receive quality service without overpaying intermediaries.

How can I make payment for the excursion?

We offer flexible payment options. You can pay for the excursion upon boarding the transfer in either cash (US dollars or Russian rubles) or by transferring funds to our Sberbank card in Russia. It's important to note that prepayment is only required for certain individual excursions where advance purchase of plane tickets or document processing is necessary. Most of the group programs can be paid during the transfer.

Our goal is to make the payment process as convenient as possible for you.

What type of transportation is used for transfers?

Depending on the number of people and the type of excursion, transfers are conducted using cars, minibusses, and large comfortable buses equipped with air conditioning. Buses with onboard toilets are used for longer group excursions. All vehicles undergo regular technical and sanitary maintenance.

Prior to each trip, the necessary permits are obtained from the police, and drivers undergo inspections.

Are you operating under a tourism license?

Egypt is a country with a well-established legal system, especially in the tourism sector. To go on a tour by car or yacht, it is necessary to obtain permission from the police and the military. Permissions are granted only to licensed tourism companies. That is why for some excursions, we may request voucher information and passport photos. However, for most excursions, permissions are obtained based on the number of participants, and passport details are not required.

In other words, we operate under a tourism license.

How can I obtain photos from the photographer who was on the tour?

The individuals who engage in photography and videography during tours are employees of separate companies that are not affiliated with the organizer. Different companies may have different photographers and different reviews from our tourists. All arrangements with photographers are within your responsibility zone.

If you do not plan to purchase photos or simply do not enjoy being photographed, we recommend informing the photographer about this at the beginning of the tour.
